I then realized that this thought deserves more than 140 characters. If you have ever wanted to do something crazy that maybe you “shouldn’t”, today (just today) I am hear to tell you to dive yourself into something you would like to do independently of the consequences… at least just for a moment. Feel alive.
To those of us with addictive tendencies (not as in AA but as in a passion for things we like), diving into something without thinking about the next step might be a dangerous terrain and therefore we should proceed cautiously.
That said, don’t be afraid to live ONE MOMENT to the MAX! Go full throttle, embrace the feeling of being ALIVE! Do something you have been craving for, something selfish, something shameless. For once, be a daredevil and go crazy!
If this to you means jumping off and airplane, just make sure your parachute works! If this to you means getting up on a stage in front of a bunch of people and karaoke your lungs out, just make sure nobody is taking video! If this to you means something criminalistic or harmful, STOP reading this post and get some help!
I know this post might not make sense and to those that get it might sound a little reckless….and that is OK!
The bottom of the line here is to LET GO! at least for just a moment. Just GO FOR IT… even if you shouldn’t.
Beware, you might have to do some cleanup afterwards but if what you want to do will make you smile 10, 20, 30 years down the road when you remember it, then maybe the mess was worth it.
